ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday clubbed the identical petitions against the call of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to shutdown the federal capital through protests and the sit-in.
Justice Mohsin Kiani heard the case, filed by a citizen Barrister Faisal Khan. During the proceeding, the court observed that different identical petitions were pending with IHC. The bench directed to club the identical petitions and sent to the IHC chief justice. The hearing of the case was adjourned for indefinite period.
Meanwhile, Justice Aamir Farooq heard the case filed by another citizen Muhammad Yaqoob, seeking restraining the PTI from locking down the capital. The petitioner stated that he was not against the protests but the PTI should hold it in peaceful manners. The hearing of the case was adjourned for indefinite time.
