GADANI: Dead bodies of two missing minors were recovered on Saturday morning after a rescue and search operation.
Earlier on Friday a family picnic turned into a tragedy as 17 members of the same family were devoured by the sea at Balochistan’s Gadani beach.
According to sources, the rescued were transferred to the rural health clinic for medical attention.
The family was from Karachi’s Lyari area and had gone to the beach for a picnic.
Earlier, two men had drowned at Karachi’s Sandspit beach on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, who were identified as two friends aged 22 and 19.
According to sources, a total of 6 people had drowned on different beaches in Karachi in the previous week.
